BODY TYPES

  • Your shoulders, waist, & hips are nearly equal in measurement, creating a straight silhouette with limited curve. DO keep the balance, wear texture & interesting cuts, emphasis your waistline & show off arms & legs. AVOID non-structured pieces & unbalanced silhouettes.

  • Your waist & hips are similar in measurement, with your shoulders being the broadest point. DO embrace open necklines, wear fuller bottoms, & look for shirts that flare from the waist. AVOID straight, tight bottoms.

  • Your hips & bust are nearly equal in measurement & you have a well-defined waist that is narrower than both. DO balance your top & bottom by dressing proportionally to follow your body’s natural silhouette & accentuate your waist. AVOID straight & boxy silhouettes.

  • Your waist is the smallest point, with your hips measuring wider than your chest & waist. DO structured shoulders, add volume on top, emphasize your waistline, & balance hips with wider pants. AVOID long boxy tops, straight bottoms & details around your hips.

  • Your hips are slim, measuring narrower than your bust & waist. You may have a larger bust with similar measurement to your waist. DO embrace more structured clothing, wear print & color on your bottom half. AVOID tops that add volume around your shoulders and waist.
